HeadBox has launched a redesigned corporate booking platform and announced plans to expand into a further 100 cities worldwide over the next six months.
The meetings and events platform has also appointed Grace Louisy, formerly managing director of HeadBox for Business UK, to lead its North American business from its New York office.
The new Booker experience, now live for enterprise clients, uses AI to support the booking process, from developing briefs and sourcing venues to comparing proposals and making bookings. It remembers users’ preferences and their company’s event history to inform future recommendations.
The platform can also automate the sourcing and booking of smaller, repeatable events, learning from venue selections, responses and successful proposals. HeadBox’s team continues to oversee decisions requiring human judgement.
“For event planners this means elevating their day-to-day roles by removing the administrative and operational work so they can focus on the things that really matter: creating exceptional events,” said Andrew Needham, founder and CEO of HeadBox.
The company said the launch follows a beta phase involving its major enterprise customers, during which all users described the platform as a significant improvement on the previous experience.
Alongside the launch, HeadBox has expanded into 10 additional North American cities: Washington DC, San Francisco, Austin, Philadelphia, Houston, Orlando, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston and Las Vegas. A further 30 cities in the region are expected to go live before the end of the year.
“We’ve been managing and delivering meetings and events in North America, our fastest-growing region, for the last 5 years. So I’m delighted to be expanding our New York office and going live today in 10 more cities, with another 30 in North America coming onboard before the end of the year,” said Louisy.
The wider rollout will add venues in 100 cities worldwide over the next six months, supported by HeadBox’s office hubs in New York, London and Sydney.
Needham said the expansion follows three major enterprise client wins in the property services, telecoms and retail sectors, as the company seeks to support more customers with global meetings and events requirements.
