Global sports and lifestyle agency Mongoose and brand experience agency Bray Leino Events, both part of The MISSION Group plc, have announced a merger to expand and strengthen capabilities for clients.
The agencies will come together under the Mongoose name, bringing together Mongoose’s expertise in sports partnerships communications and experiential with Bray Leino Events’ 50 years of expertise delivering high-profile live events, exhibitions and brand experiences.
The combined agency will be led by CEO Chris O’Donoghue, with a team of more than 175 specialists from across the two existing businesses.
The business will deliver over 250 experiences annually across more than 30 countries, with bespoke client teams built to deliver integrated campaigns and sponsorships on an international scale while maintaining consistency of execution and creative quality.
The approach is already being demonstrated through work with fully integrated global clients like Amazfit and its sponsorship of Hyrox, and The North Face Climb Festival in London, which brought climbing, culture, music and community for two days at London’s Royal Victoria Dock.
“This is an important phase of growth for Mongoose. Clients are increasingly looking for agencies that can develop sponsorship strategies, create compelling communications, deliver world-class live experiences, and activate partnerships seamlessly across multiple markets, said Chris O’Donoghue, CEO at Mongoose Group.
“The addition of Bray Leino Events allows us to do just that, while maintaining the creative and delivery excellence Mongoose is known for.”
Matt Hocken, Mongoose group creative director, added: “The opportunity is scale with real flexibility. We can run a major international event with all the complexity that brings, or make something smaller, sharper and more culturally relevant.”
