We shine the spotlight on this year’s Best Destination Management Company winner, REALM, who picked up the award for the second time, having previously won at the micebook Awards 2024. Check out highlights from their winning entry…
REALM is on a mission to redefine destination management by treating event design as an art form, blending psychology, storytelling and immersive experience architecture across Asia Pacific.
Founded in 2020, the company has expanded to 10 destinations, grown to 64 full-time staff, and delivered 135+ events in 2025 alone, welcoming over 14,962 attendees.
REALM’s approach shifts the narrative from logistics to co-creation. The team designs transformative journeys where participants are the heroes and REALM acts as guide and creative partner.
From 3D-mapping dinners in Vietnam to curating bespoke programs through the lesser-known corridors that connect Hong Kong and China to bringing to life rituals that create a spiritual connection that can only be found when stepping foot in Bali, every program is built around emotional connection, cultural depth and meaningful impact.
Sustainability is embedded through EarthCheck and Trace partnerships, social enterprise collaboration, and net zero commitments. With 70% repeat and referral business and a 58% increase in word-of-mouth growth, REALM’s creative partnership model continues to drive measurable results while elevating industry standards across the region.
One judge described the entry as an exceptionally strong and modern DMC submission combining creativity, operational excellence, sustainability and destination storytelling at scale. Another added: “REALM feels like the most modern, ambitious and category-defining DMC in the field.”
