Parallel Blue Group (PBG) has appointed Mark Harsant as managing director, succeeding Paul Martin as part of a planned leadership transition designed to support the company’s long-term growth.
After leading the agency through a significant period of development and success, Martin will step into the role of executive chairman while continuing as owner of the business.
In this new position, he will remain actively involved in supporting the team, helping to deliver the company’s strategic plans and representing PBG externally. The appointment forms part of PBG’s succession planning strategy and reflects the company’s commitment to ensuring strong leadership for the next phase of its growth.
“This is a significant milestone for PBG and one that has been carefully planned. Having led the business for many years, I believe now is the right time to hand over the reins and allow the next generation of leadership to take PBG forward,” said Martin.
“Mark’s appointment reflects the incredible contribution he has made to our success. Throughout his time with the business, he has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership, deep industry knowledge, a strong network of relationships and an unwavering commitment to our people, clients and values.”
Harsant added: “It is a real privilege to take on the role of managing director of PBG. I am incredibly excited about what lies ahead. With several plans already taking shape, PBG is well positioned for its next phase of growth. Together, we will build on our success, embrace new opportunities and continue driving the business forward as we enter our 36th year of trading.”
