Antigua and Barbuda is strengthening its position as one of the Caribbean’s leading destinations for meetings and incentive travel with the launch of a new digital guide for event planners, created in partnership with micebook.

The comprehensive guide provides planners with everything they need to know about the twin-island destination, including accessibility and transport links, accommodation options for MICE groups, unique venues, memorable experiences and sustainability initiatives.

The Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority (ABTA) is also exhibiting at The Meetings Show in London this week (Stand C24), where it will meet planners face-to-face to showcase the destination’s growing appeal for conferences and incentives.

The launch of the guide and ABTA’s presence at The Meetings Show comes as the destination continues to gain momentum in the business events sector. In 2025, Antigua and Barbuda was named the Caribbean’s Leading Meetings & Conference Destination at the World Travel Awards, recognising its success in hosting major regional and international events.

In 2026, the destination successfully hosted the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association’s (CHTA) Caribbean Travel Marketplace for a second consecutive year and is preparing to welcome delegates from across the Commonwealth for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in November.

Alongside its impressive meeting infrastructure and accommodations, Antigua and Barbuda offers planners the opportunity to create programmes that blend business objectives with authentic destination experiences. Groups can take advantage of the destination’s 365 beaches, private yacht charters and watersports activities, while historic sites, cultural attractions and local culinary experiences provide memorable additions to meeting and incentive itineraries.

“The MICE sector has become an increasingly important part of Antigua and Barbuda’s tourism offering, creating valuable opportunities to welcome business events, incentive groups and conferences from around the world. The launch of our new MICE Guide, alongside our presence at The Meetings Show, reflects our continued commitment to supporting event planners and showcasing everything the destination has to offer,” said Cherrie Osbourne, Director of Tourism UK & Europe at ABTA.

“Designed as a practical and inspiring resource, the guide brings together the key information planners need, from venues and accommodation to unique experiences and local expertise. With world-class facilities, excellent connectivity and the warm hospitality for which Antigua and Barbuda is renowned, we are confident the destination offers an exceptional setting for meetings and events of all sizes.”

“We’re delighted to have partnered with the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority on this guide,” said Susie Harwood, editor of micebook. “Antigua and Barbuda has a compelling proposition for meetings and incentive travel, combining high-quality venues and accommodation with the authentic experiences that today’s delegates increasingly value. Our aim was to create a resource that not only supports planners in their destination research but also showcases the breadth of opportunities available across the islands.”
