UK representation agency LJS Representation has appointed Arva Gilbey-Jones as senior account manager supporting its destination portfolio, following a series of new client wins.
Gilbey-Jones brings over a decade of experience across hospitality, events and international MICE sales, having worked across the UK, Irish and Scandinavian markets in both regional and global roles.
She has held senior sales positions with leading international hotel brands including Marriott, Accor and most recently Jumeirah, working closely with convention bureaus, destination management companies and airlines worldwide.
In her new role, she will work closely on the representation of the Monaco Convention Bureau and will act as a key point of contact for UK MICE planners seeking to host conferences, meetings and incentive travel in The Principality.
This follows news last month that LJS Representation and HOPSCOTCH Groupe will work collaboratively with Monaco Convention Bureau to elevate Monaco’s status as a MICE destination in the UK market.
“We are delighted to welcome Arva at such an exciting point in LJS’s growth,” said Lisa Stewart, founder of LJS Representation.
“I have had the pleasure of working with Arva over many years and have always been impressed by her professionalism, intelligence and natural ability to build and nurture strong industry relationships. She will be an invaluable addition to our destination representation portfolio.”
Gilbey-Jones added: “I am very excited to be joining Lisa and the team at LJS Representation. I look forward to supporting such exceptional MICE destinations in my new role and to showcasing everything Monaco has to offer to the UK meetings and events market.”
