As luxury hotel development continues to surge across the globe, meeting and incentive groups hungry to try something new will never be short of options. We share five of the most anticipated debuts in 2026, spanning everything from historic city gems to chic coastal resorts…

Amanvari, Mexico

Aman is set to unveil its newest coastal resort, Amanvari, on the untouched East Cape of Baja California, Mexico, in spring 2026. Resting at the meeting point of three distinct landscapes – beachfront, desert and estuary – the 18-key resort is positioned to celebrate its natural setting. The accommodations, called Casitas, offer views of the Sea of Cortez and the Sierra de la Laguna mountains. Distinctive dining venues will range from Italian to Japanese, alongside the vibrant flavours and seasonal bounty of Baja. The Aman Spa will reflect the brand’s longevity-focused approach and guests will enjoy unrivalled access to snorkelling, diving, hiking and sailing.

Park Hyatt Phu Quoc, Vietnam

The Park Hyatt in Phu Quoc, Vietnam, is scheduled to open in early 2026, spanning 160 acres of land in front of a pristine white sand beach. Phu Quoc is Vietnam’s largest island and a designated UNESCO site, providing the perfect backdrop for memorable meetings and incentives. The luxury resort will include 100 rooms and 65 private residences. Two swimming pools, two restaurants, 400 sqm of event space and a lakeside spa will also be featured on the property, while an on-site organic farm will supply the food for the guests.

The Lake Como EDITION – Italy

With a full opening expected in early 2026, The Lake Como EDITION reimagines a historic 19th-century palazzo on the western shore of Lake Como, in Cadenabbia di Griante. With 145 guest rooms including two penthouse suites, the design leans into Italian heritage infused with contemporary flair. Led by award-winning chef Mauro Colagreco, there’ll be waterfront restaurants and bars, a soaring lobby lounge, and poolside options. A floating pool, private dock, wellness rituals and curated experiences complete the lifestyle offering.

The Harriman, Idaho

Slated to open in June 2026, The Harriman brings Viceroy’s signature blend of design and alpine soul to downtown Ketchum, Idaho, gateway to the legendary Sun Valley. With 73 guest rooms and 12 single-level penthouse residences, all commanding sweeping views of Idaho’s Rocky Mountains, the resort will feature a spa with indoor thermal pool, cold plunge, sauna and steam rooms. Dining and social life revolve around a full-service restaurant, zinc-clad bar, café and ski concierge, and a rooftop observatory and terrace bar offer unobstructed views of the Central Idaho Dark Sky Reserve.

Orient Express Palazzo Dona Giovannelli

Opening in April 2026, Orient Express Palazzo Donà Giovannelli brings new life to a 15th-century Venetian palace in the Cannaregio district. Originally designed by Filippo Calendario, architect of the Doge’s Palace, the building has undergone an eight-year restoration. The project preserves its Gothic façade and historic salons, including the Vittoria Ballroom and Music Room. The hotel will offer 47 rooms and suites, many with views of canals or the private courtyard garden. Guests can expect refined Venetian dining with direct boat access, relaxed all-day options by the garden, and the striking Wagon Bar, inspired by the golden age of rail travel.
