Jimmy Garcia Catering has appointed Alana Buckley as its new managing director, effective from 6 October 2025.
Buckley, former managing director at street food collective KERB, brings extensive experience in strategic growth and partnership development. Her previous roles include head of events at Moving Venue and board member at Unique Venues of London.
The appointment coincides with a leadership restructure. Current managing director Richard Groves will transition to Chairman, focusing on business development and long-term strategy. He will continue to work closely with Buckley, founder Jimmy Garcia, and Bertie Woodhead, managing director of Jimmy’s Pop Up, the commercial arm of the business.
“We chose Alana because of her exceptional experience and strong industry connections,” says Jimmy Garcia, founder. “Richard and I have brought her into the business at an exciting and pivotal time for the company, and we’re confident that her leadership will help us continue to grow and innovate across new venues and client experiences.”
The strengthened leadership team comes as the company prepares for its next phase of growth, including ambitions to achieve B Corp certification. Jimmy Garcia Catering has recently added the V&A South Kensington, the Science Museum, and Two Temple Place to its accredited venue list. Further partnerships and activations are expected to be announced later this year.
