At Ikebana, we believe that truly exceptional events are those that connect people to a place, a moment, and a story. We have a deep passion for staging events in historic and culturally significant venues—be it royal châteaux, fashion designers’ private homes, iconic museums, or heritage vineyards. These spaces offer more than just beauty—they bring meaning, emotion, and prestige. They also align with our sustainability values: repurposing existing architectural treasures while enhancing cultural appreciation (most of the rental fees are used to maintain those treasure so we contribute to the heritage!)
This is the environment where we thrive: where elegance meets emotion, and where every detail contributes to a once-in-a-lifetime experience and can be the setting for brand activations!
Case Study: A Night of Prestige – 400 Guests, 5 Days, One Historic Moment
As part of a five-day incentive program for a global tech company, we were asked to craft a show-stopping Awards Night for 400 guests—something unforgettable, rooted in excellence and the brand’s vision. Naturally, we turned to our expertise: staging immersive brand moments in heritage sites.
The Setting
We selected an iconic royal château as the stage : the Château de Versailles itself—known worldwide for its architectural splendour and historic importance. To build anticipation, guests were led through a private, after-hours private tour of the grand apartments, culminating in an intimate journey through the Hall of Mirrors—lit dramatically and brought to life by a troupe of costumed musicians, curated and managed by a historian for historical accuracy and immersive impact.
Creative Process
From early planning stages, we worked with our in-house scenographer to create detailed 3D renderings of the creative concept—offering our client a full visual immersion into the intended experience. These mock-ups guided every decision, from lighting placement to seating layout, ensuring coherence between vision and execution.
The Experience
Dinner was orchestrated by Ducasse Reception, one of France’s most prestigious culinary names. The menu featured five haute cuisine courses served by a brigade of 70 uniformed staff. Tables were dressed with custom-made linens designed to evoke royal banquets, enhancing the sense of timeless prestige. The ceremony itself unfolded beneath, with a giant LED screen elegantly integrated into the architecture to present videos and awards. This blend of heritage and modernity created a seamless narrative—celebrating both legacy and innovation.
The Impact
For guests, the evening felt more than exclusive—it felt historic. The setting, the sounds, the rhythm of the evening created a sense of privilege and pride. The client later reported that the Awards Night had the highest emotional impact of the entire incentive, reinforcing loyalty and admiration among top performers.
