This week, we’re banishing those Blue Monday blues by dreaming of the crystal clear waters and sunny skies of the stunning Seychelles. Our Venue of The Week, Cheval Blanc Seychelles, is the ultimate island escape. Situated along the white sandy beaches of Anse Intendance on Mahé Island in the heart of the Indian Ocean, the resort recently opened its doors in December 2024, and is the latest addition to LVMH’s Cheval Blanc portfolio, marking its sixth Maison worldwide…

Cheval Blanc Seychelles is more than just a luxury resort, it’s a perfect blend of natural beauty, luxurious accommodation and unique experiences, making it the ultimate escape or incentive trip destination. Featuring private villas, a host of gourmet dining options and countless opportunities to experience the vibrant culture of the Seychelles, this is one spot you wont want to miss out on.

Accommodation

The resort features 52 individual villas, each offering a private 13-meter swimming pool, outdoor shower and terrace area – potentially one of the better places to enjoy a morning coffee. The villas have been designed by renowned architect Jean-Michel Gathy, and blend contemporary décor with traditional Seychellois elements, complete with lush greenery and turquoise waters as a very appealing backdrop.

Each villa seamlessly blends the indoor and outdoor spaces, so you can enjoy the best of both worlds. Depending on your preference, there’s the option to pick between beach front villas, leaving you just steps away from the ocean, or a more private hill top villa, featuring panoramic views and an infinity pool.

Dining

There’s certainly no shortage of food options here! Cheval Blanc Seychelles features five unique dining spots, including Italian, Mediterranean and French cusine. Fancy a twist on Creole classics? Head to Sula, where local flavours meet fine dining, situated right next to the ocean.

For something truly special, Mizumi, the Japanese restaurant based in a preserved Creole cottage is a fusion of heritage and modern flair in a truly unique setting. Of course, we can’t forget the handcrafted cocktails. Is there any better way to end the day than by sipping a tropical drink while watching the sun set over the Indian Ocean?

Wellness

If relaxation is high on your agenda – and let’s face it, it should be – the Spa Cheval Blanc has the solution to all your needs. This little slice of paradise is nestled in the heart of the lush jungle and features treatments inspired by the island’s natural beauty. If your own private pool wasn’t enough, the spa features a further four options, each offering different experiences and views.

There is also a full state of the art gym, with the option of booking a coaching session if you wish. There are also plenty of opportunities for outdoor adventures, such as sunrise yoga sessions or a hike through the lush trails surrounding the resort. However you feel like spending your day, there’s sure to be ample options to suit everyone.
