We’re headed to Paris this week for micebook Ventures Chapter III, so for our Venue of the Week, we’re shining the spotlight on our host hotel for the event, TOO Hotel Paris – MGallery.

Event profs joining us at Ventures will get to discover this uniquely-designed property first hand. For those who can’t make it, here’s a sneak peek…

Part of the Accor group, this four-star retreat is in the iconic 13th arrondissement, at the top of one of Jean Nouvel’s Duo Towers, offering spectacular views over the Paris skyline.

Designed by Philippe Starck, the hotel offers 139 rooms and suites, with beds angled towards the windows to make the most of the city views, and floor-to-ceiling mirrors playing with perspective. The colour palette draws on the sky, with “cloud-like cream” and “hints of sunset orange”, and bathrooms include wide sinks, baths and rain fall showers.

Located on the 25th floor the TOO Restaurant, led by chef Benjamin Six, is set within a gold-ceilinged glass cube above the hotel and features powder pink walls and murals by Pierre Monestier. Guests can enjoy breakfast in the clouds, lunch in the sky or dinner beneath the stars.

Those with a head for heights will feel on top of the world at lively and vibrant TOO TacTac Skybar, which overlooks the city on the 27th floor, breaking through the clouds at a dizzy height of 120 metres. The highest skybar and rooftop in Paris, it features a panoramic indoor space and sweeping outdoor terrace and is available for private hire.

Event planners will discover four modular meeting rooms on the ground floor of the hotel, ideal for a range of meetings and events for 14 to 75 people, and all featuring natural light, elegant and functional furniture by Philippe Starck and cutting-edge technology.

The hotel’s spa, known as Too Chill, is open exclusively to hotel guests and includes three treatment rooms, a fully glass-walled gym, a custom-made cedar wood sauna and a ten-seater outdoor jacuzzi on the 17th floor terrace overlooking the Seine.

Since Ventures is a sustainability-focused summit, its important to mention that TOO Hotel was built with the environment in mind and designed to satisfy the criteria imposed by several stringent environmental labels. These include:

  • NF BT HQE (high environmental quality) certification + “Sustainable Building”” passport (“Exceptional” level)
  • “EFFINERGIE +” label
  • LEED for Core and Shell certification (Platinum level)
  • Well certification (Platinum level)
