Lifestyle hotel brand Malmaison has announced that Malmaison Manchester Deansgate, will open its doors on 1 February.
Located close to the bustling Deansgate, the boutique property will offer 70 rooms and suites, many with views over the picturesque Albert Square.
Interiors take inspiration from the city’s industrial heritage and contributions to art and music, while bedrooms pay homage to the retro designs of the 60s and 70s, referencing the iconic G Plan furniture of this era, a benchmark for classic British design. Illustrative murals will be a central feature throughout, featuring an artistic fusion of nature motifs.
Signature restaurant Malmaison Bar & Grill will seat 114 guests and serve a stylish fusion grill menu, offering a contemporary takes on classic and seasonal dishes, carefully curated by Chef Director John Woodward, served alongside a curated wine list and bar menu.
Manchester Deansgate will also feature Malmaison’s second Sora rooftop bar and restaurant in the UK, seating 116 guests across its restaurant and terrace that overlooks the historic Manchester Town Hall. It will offer small plates from a selection of sushi, Robatayaki and Pan-Asian fusion style tapas dishes, and sip signature cocktails while taking in the striking view of the city.
Manchester Deansgate will be Malmaison’s eighteenth property in its UK portfolio, and it’s second in the northern metropolis of Manchester.
