Minor Hotels has announced the appointment of Janet Broomfield as global luxury director, meeting & incentives.
Located in London, her focus will be on Anantara & Tivoli Hotels, which offer properties across an impressive list of destinations including Spain, Netherlands, Ireland, Portugal, Italy, Thailand, Maldives, Brazil, Malaysia, Oman, Sri Lanka and Zambia.
Broomfield brings a wealth of experience to the role – her most recent role was director of global sales UK & Ireland, meetings & incentives at Corinthia Hotels, and she previously held roles at Rocco Forte Hotels, Moevenpick Hotels & Resorts, and Marriott Hotels.
She said: “It’s an exciting time and am thrilled to join Minor Hotels. I’m looking forward to driving visibility and sales within the UK market for our properties across the globe. The portfolio of properties offers excellent meeting facilities and exciting incentive destinations.”
The brand continues to expand its footprint across the globe and has an impressive network, including Anantara The Marker Hotel in Dublin, and recently opened Anantara Plaza Nice Hotel, and is looking forward to many more exciting openings planned for the future.
Broomfield will report to global director of strategic sales and UK market leader, Alberto Gutiérrez.
