Event agency Powwow marked 25 years in business this month with an evening celebration in London with current and past members of the team, clients, suppliers and friends.
Amanda Edcgumbe set up the agency in 1998 and was joined by her husband Matt Edgcumbe a few years later.
The anniversary event was held at The House of St Barnabas, a private members club and charity which has been breaking the cycle of homelessness since 1846, and was also founded by Dr Henry Monro, a relative of Amanda.
HOSB provide onsite employment and skills training for people who have experienced homelessness, followed by 12 months of progression support, including mentoring and housing support.
Guests at the event enjoyed an evening of food, drinks, and entertainment.
“I was absolutely thrilled to celebrate Powwow’s 25th birthday with so many of our team, both past and present, with lots of clients, friends and family,” said Edgcumbe.
“We had such a fun night at The House of St Barnabas – a wonderful charity for homeless people – an historic yet cool venue in Soho. Thank you everyone for coming and who helped to arrange such a wonderful party!”
To mark the milestone anniversary, Edcgumbe shared 25 things she has learned over the past 25 years.
