Convene Hospitality Group has signed for a 5,000 sq m (54,000 sq ft) event and meeting space at One Rathbone Square in London’s West End, set to open in Spring 2027.

The venue, to be called Convene Rathbone, is located a minute’s walk from Tottenham Court Road station with direct Elizabeth line access to Farringdon and a single-line connection to Heathrow, a selling point for international delegates. It has a dedicated street entrance off Oxford Street. One Rathbone Square was designed by Frank Gehry and Make Architects. The space will hold 800-plus guests in its main hall and feature projection mapping, street-facing LED walls, and a rigging system designed to accommodate large-format events including automotive showcases and brand installations. In-house catering, AV production and a full on-site events team will also be provided.

Niamh Martin, CHG’s UK Managing Director, said the company was “creating a next-generation venue designed for immersive storytelling, high-impact events, and meaningful human connection.”

Convene Rathbone will join five existing London sites, at Sancroft, 200 Aldersgate, 22 Bishopsgate, 155 Bishopsgate and 133 Houndsditch, expanding the group’s footprint in the capital. Convene Hospitality Group, backed by Ares and Brookfield, operates around 40 venues across its Convene, etc.venues and NeueHouse brands and describes itself as the largest dedicated meeting and event space provider in the US and UK. CBRE and Gowling WLG advised on the deal.
